Recording (San Diego)

Recording / tracking is one of the most important steps—after songwriting — to end up with a pristine final product. If you are on a budget and can’t afford a major studio, we may be a good fit. My home recording studio has all the needs for a full band: drums, guitars, vocals, and keyboard/synths. I recommend first putting together a rough demo of your song, work out the kinks, then get ready to officially record. Once you are there…

  1. First, we’ll discuss your project and your goals with a free consultation

  2. Second, we’ll schedule time to record and discuss further gear requirements

  3. Third, I’ll review we’ll track each instrument separately

  4. Fourth, I will clean up each track to get ready to mix (remove phasing, align timing,

  5. Next, if you need vocal tuning, I can help tune your vocals using Antares Autotune

  6. Lastly, I will bounce out stems (individual tracks) that are mix-ready
